Toyota Financial Services Europe and Africa reports unauthorized activity


Toyota Financial Services Europe and Africa (TFSEA) recently discovered unauthorized activity on systems at some of its locations. In order to investigate these activities and mitigate risks, TFSEA shut down certain systems and began working with law enforcement.

TFSEA is working to restore the affected systems as quickly as possible and apologizes for any inconvenience caused to customers and business partners. As of today, this incident is limited to TFSEA and does not affect other Toyota entities.

Toyota Motor Europe prioritizes data security and privacy and will provide further updates in due course.
